November 2010 – I don’t have a whole lot to say about this one. The photo speaks for itself. We got off the plane in Sacramento and drove straight to the Squeeze Inn. When Diners, Drive-ins and Dives first started, I saw Guy eating this burger with a GIANT cheese skirt, and I knew I’d visit this place if I were ever in the area. Good thing I stopped in. It was delicious. The cheese skirt was every bit as good as it looks.
This wasn’t the location featured on the show, but that’s only because the original was closed down. There was some sort of lawsuit relating to handicapped access or something, I don’t know. If you’re that interested, Google it. The bottom line, is that this burger was good and the staff was very friendly. Some call it the best burger in Sacramento, and having tried it, I can’t disagree. It’s one of the better burgers I’ve ever had. Man… I wish I was eating that cheese skirt right now. Mmm… cheese.
